Jean Luc Bilodeau ini dilahirkan di Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada pada tanggal 4 November 1990. Ia adalah anak dari pasangan Raymond dan Barb Bilodeau. Dia biasa dipanggil JL atau J-Biddy. JL memiliki seorang saudara perempuan yang bernama Danielle.

Sebelum menjadi aktor, JL adalah seorang dancer beraliran hip-hop. Ia menjadi dancer selama 8 tahun, tapi ia memutuskan berhenti karna sibuk berakting. Hobinya adalah bermain game Grand Theft Auto (wah sama kayak abang gua nih...)
